(Redwood City, CA) Mark Church, Chief Elections Officer & Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder announced that the San Mateo County Registration & Elections Division has begun mailing the Sample Ballot & Voter Information Pamphlet for the November 3, 2026 Statewide General Election to registered voters.

“The Sample Ballot and Official Voter Information Pamphlet provides voters with valuable information about candidates, measures, and voter services for the upcoming election,” said Church.

“The voter pamphlet will be provided to all eligible voters in one of the four required languages in San Mateo County: English, Spanish, Chinese, or Filipino,” added Church. “Voters indicate their language preference when they register to vote.”

The Sample Ballot and Official Voter Information Pamphlet is also available online in an accessible, screen-reader-friendly format. To view the pamphlet, visit www.smcvote.gov and select “My Election Info.”

For those who are visually impaired, an audio version of the county’s Sample Ballot and Official Voter Information Pamphlet is available upon request by calling the Registration & Elections Division at 888-SMC-VOTE (888-762-8683).

Early Voting Period Begins October 5, 2026
All registered San Mateo County voters will be mailed a Vote by Mail ballot in October 2026. Three Vote Centers will open for in-person voting beginning October 5, 2026, with additional Vote Centers opening throughout the weeks leading up to Election Day.
