(Redwood City, CA) Mark Church, Chief Elections Officer and Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder, officially certified the results today for the November 4, 2025 Statewide Special Election.
“San Mateo County is pleased to announce the certification of the November 4, 2025 Statewide Special Election,” said Church. “On Election Day, San Mateo County had 446,692 registered voters, with a total voter turnout of 55.07%. Of the 246,003 total ballots cast, 231,073 (93.93%) were Vote by Mail and 14,930 (6.07%) were cast at Vote Centers.”
The election results are certified after the Canvass of the Vote is completed within 30 days following the election. This process includes a One Percent Manual Tally of the votes to ensure the accuracy of the results.

These official election results provide a detailed breakdown of votes by precinct and major districts.
